When do you stop serving breakfast?
This restaurant is pretty great. I love the atmosphere and the pictures that are hung up. My family has gone here many times and we have never gotten bad service. I also really enjoy the food, especially the chicken strips, burgers, and pancakes.
MoreWe had the lunch special of chicken strips. They were So Good! Homemade split pea soup was good, too. Then for dessert, we have a scrumptious piece of coconut cream pie. Well worth the drive to Shoshone!!
MoreThis little cafe is fairly decent, stopped here on my way to Shoshone falls, for being one of the only restaurants in town, the price is very good, and our waitress was polite and helpful. The food was a little bland and overcooked in some aspects, but nothing unreasonable. Overall a good experience.
MoreAbsolutely the best food and milk shakes ever. My parents started going there in the 50's and it's still a special spot for our whole family!
MoreBest breakfast in the world! 3 of all thing breakfast wonderful! Hungry motorcycle riders on way back to Montana! Will be back next trip for sure
MoreThis place has a lot of character - in a good way. Friendly hostess and lots of regulars. The coffee was good enough to drink black. The eggs over easy were cooked to perfection, bacon yummy, pancakes and French toast scrumptious. Even the water was good.
MoreHad the daily special and have never been so disgusted in my life. The chicken was rubbery and rancid. The Alfredo sauce was just straight tasteless cream and they put about a gallon on top of barely a handful of noodles. I feel sick already 5 minutes after leaving. Do not go here.
MoreThe food is great here, and our waitress was awesome, highly recommend!!!!
This is a great place to eat!
Yummy as always. Our favorite place to stop after fishing at Magic. Coffee is excellent, so is the food.
MoreFood was good home style cooking with large portions, place was a bit worn and showing its age. Service was ok. This was a take it or leave it place for me. I'd probably go elsewhere next time.
MoreThis cafe has been here for as long as I can remember. It is quaint, clean, the people are friendly as hec, the food was great.
MoreGreat food, staff and location! The trifecta of great meals! Recommended!
This is a little hidden gem. If you're in the Twin Falls area, make the drive. It's got very tasty food.
MoreSmall town diner with no frills. We always stop here on on our way home from fishing for french fries and gravy, drool! The prices are good, the portions are big and the staff is very nice.
MoreFood is really good. Customer service is excellent! The coconut cream with coffee just so yummy.
MoreJust passing through town looking for something to eat was a nice little stop. I got a Gardenburger which they must've thought most of the vegetables was in the burger cause all I got was pickles and lettuce? But it was good so next time I may just get a mushroom burger and have them put the garden patty!!
MoreFood is great and well proportion
Good food and great service except the one waitress was mean.
Went with my father many times at least 50 years ago! Food still great, good prime rib specials!
MoreWe stop here about 3 or 4 times a year driving through. Yummy food most of the time. I wish they were more consistent w the portions size. Sometimes big, sometimes small. friendly service w a smile! P.s. couldn't hurt to season the meat every now and then
MoreGood service and good food
Typical Midwest diner. But as you look around you start to become aware that the owner of this fine eatery is a buff. What's a buff you ask? A buff is someone who is overcome with joy at the sight and sound of trains. There's paraphernalia all over this place, steam engines in full colour looming over your booth as you sip your coffee. It's also right across the street from the tracks, so in case you didn't get enough in house you just wait for the slow rumble of BNSFs finest.
MoreGreat meal for Memorial Day! Dessi was our server and just terrific. Fun times, great place in Shoshone!
MoreWe stopped in here for breakfast heading to Spokane Wa. I had bacon and eggs. The portion sizes are big. I got 4 peices of bacon. My eggs were cooked perfectly and my hashbrowns were crispy. Our waitress was super friendly and kept our coffee cups full. What a great little place.
MoreIf you're ever in Shoshoni Idaho I recommend this place. The fries and coffee or grades and the server was accommodating.
MoreA historic cafe. Been in business for a century! Just an everyday cafe with great burgers etc.
MoreOnly place I know where to find maple cinnamon roles!
Great food for the value!!
A little old and dated of a building but that kinda adds to the charm
Had a great lunch, hearty food and plant of it, very pleasant staff, a lot of cool railroad stuff inside for you railroad buffs
MoreManhattan Cafe is great American cafe. The food is always good at great prices. As a footnote it's the oldest continuesly operating cafe in Idaho.
MoreThis place is the picture that comes into my mind when I think of a small town diner. It is reasonably-priced good food. They serve breakfast all day, are best known for their handmade milkshakes, and their french fries are my favorite in Idaho (make sure you ask for fry sauce). Salmon may not be what you'd expect to order in a place like this but it's my favorite entree there. It's family run and has the only salad bar in town, check them out!
MoreGreat small town diner. Enjoyed the burgers and chili.
They have very great service. It is a family run business and everyone is very kind. Their booths are not cracked, only a few of them show age and were wore down. Amazing coffee, the milkshakes were a little thick for my taste but if you let it sit for a little while they are perfect. I always stop by on my way through. I love it here, it's so homey.
MoreBeen going there for 40 years and it's like coming home.Great food, home made pies, great service. Dated and a bit ragged but darn it that's how it should be...Quite literally one of the last of its kind in south central Idaho. Try the chicken fried steak!
MoreThey have great food! Quick service!
Cooked with too much oil 👎. Atmosphere is good.
forgot to take pics but the food was delicious and waitress was very friendly had the meat plate with ham and toast. wife had waffle breakfast.
MoreGood service. My veggie burger was fine. My friend enjoyed his cheese burger. Milk shake was great and huge
MoreGreat service, great comfort food. Haven't been this way in years but hope to come again soon.
MoreFriendly people with good food!
Great place to stop and eat in the way to Boise. Lots of food choices. Very friendly staff. Family owned. Great coffee also. Or go to diner when we travel West. Gotta try the Chinese Noddles!
MoreVery good diner. Good selection, great service. They will hurt you with their fresh made pies
MoreSmall town atmosphere. Service was excellent and food was good
I enjoyed my chicken fried steak, hashbrowns and eggs. I also got to watch two trains pass by through the front window. Service was good. Overall, a good experience.
MoreGood food at a decent price. Pies there are the real ztars of the restaurant.
Just what we were hoping for this morning for breakfast. Homey, authentic small town diner vibe. Generous servings, tasty food, excellent service. GREAT cup of coffee. We were even treated to a train roaring by across the road and shaking the windows. My little boys were delighted.
MoreAmazing food reasonably priced and a friendly staff that genuinely cares for their customers.
MoreThe food was good, service was good. Place to seemed a bit out dated
